The main reason why your htv is peeling off or have bubbles is probably due to an incorrect peeling method. If you adjusted your settings but you are still getting some backing coming off with your design fear not there is a fix. Stretch or pull the fabric where the mistake is until the vinyl easily pulls up off the fabric. You can test this by cutting out a small shape weeding apply transfer tape and peeling off the backing.

Once you get your vinyl on your transfer tape flip it over and weed off the backing paper. If you ve ever had your iron on vinyl also called heat transfer vinyl or htv peel or bubble when you ve peeled off the backing sheet you probably have a warm peel vs cool peel problem. If the backing rips at that line you don t have to be overly gentle and separates so that you have part of the backing attached to the vinyl still and part of the backing ripped then you know you are cutting too far. Apply a few drops of the solvent on the underside of the vinyl.

Heat up your lower heat press platen for 2 3 seconds set at around 300 f. Check for instructions for the vinyl you are using and make sure all of your settings are spot on. It is an easy fix for a few stubborn pieces of backing paper attached to your vinyl. Throw the garment in the washer and then line dry it before reapplying vinyl. You want to go through the vinyl but not through the backing at all.

There are two ways that are used for this process always and they are the warm peel and cold peel. Turn your t shirt inside out. On the other hand if easyweed is not pressed long enough or at too low of heat it will also not stick to the garment. So all you need to do is increase the temperature 5 f to 10 f.
